About Nebraska
Nebraska, also known as The Cornhusker State, is located in the heart of the Midwestern region of the United States. It is the primary agricultural state in the country, with its industry centered around the production of corn, livestock, and ethanol: “Golden Triangle.” The state’s largest city, Omaha, is situated by the Missouri River, while its capital is Lincoln.
For thousands of years, the region was home to many native nations, such as the Omaha, Ponca, Pawnee, and Lakota people. Spanish settlers arrived in present-day Nebraska after the French ceded Louisiana to Spain and traveled up the Missouri River. The United States established forts west of the river early in the 19th century, and many homesteaders arrived in the area as railroads pushed west. In 1867, Nebraska became the 37th state to join the Union.
Superior results through technology
One the greatest challenges today is sourcing capacity that fluctuates with demand in the marketplace. As an intermediary, we carefully consider the qualifications of the truck equipment operators we contract with to service our shipper clients’ needs.
LAST MILE LOGISTICS logisticians rely on their experience and use of proprietary technology to manage and move every shipment. And because shipper clients require a practical risk management approach to doing business, LAST MILE LOGISTICS is one of few brokers that has Primary Truck Broker Liability Insurance ($2 Million policy).
