LAST MILE LOGISTICS enables LTL shippers to consolidate vendors. We offer a premium service from initial pick-up through final delivery. Pricing is available for transactional moves as well as sourcing events which can lead to large cost savings. We coordinate pick-ups and deliveries by working with a network of highly professional LTL carriers whose services cross a full spectrum of shipping needs - both dry and temperature-controlled freight.

Intermodal is an integral segment of LAST MILE LOGISTICS's full -service portfolio of transportation offerings. Drayage is the transport of cargo, freight or shipments over a very short distance during a single work shift, with the transport beginning and ending in the same urban area.

The following examples of Drayage are when the charges occur and what you get for them:

In a typical freight situation, where multiple modes of transportation are used (for port movement, truck transport, & rail) it is the movement of the freight or cargo from where it is unloaded from the truck or ship to where it is loaded on the train. At this point, there is generally some updating of inbound or outbound shipping documents and possibly the loading & unloading and repackaging of freight into a container.
